It belongs in the technical section. You are right in that it is not a question. It is an answer. It is for people who go to the technical forum and perform a search on erratic or fluctuating idle, just as I did when I was trying to find the answer to my car’s issue, to find out what other owners experiences have been with that technical issue. A forum that only contained questions would not be of much use. If an owner has had experience with a particular technical problem and have solved it, I would encourage them to post their experience to help others and not wait for a question to be asked. Down the road it will be valuable to someone in the future.
